Learn how as a woman entrepreneur you can successfully grow or launch and fund a small business - Series Sponsor for 2021: Bank OZKIn this session, Startup Junkie consultant Martha Londagin will review the Lean Canvas business design for starting or growing any current small business. This session will be applicable to any type of business be it a "side hustle" started while still employed elsewhere, to a home-based, sole-proprietorship d/b/a model, to an official LLC entity business that is growing but needs to plan for its future and possibly seek a bank loan for funding. Basic topics such as business entity and structure management choices and changes needed, owner experience and passion for the industry for startups, the first steps to take to plan for a business' growth or as a road map to open one, low or no-cost marketing ideas, and investigation and evaluation needed of the current consumer or client market base will be covered. Funding option topics covered will include crowd sourcing platforms, investors, use of personal funds, micro-loans, traditional bank loans, and other extensions of credit like credit cards and lines of credit and their various sources available in the region and online. A Bank OZK representative will also provide educational examples explaining small business bank products and loan options to help your business launch or grow, financial insights on what banks look for in a viable small business loan application. A light lunch and soft drinks will be provided for all attendees due to Bank OZK's sponsorship of this series.
Speaker Martha Londagin is an executive business consultant with the Startup Junkie Foundation where she also serves as the Capital Access Manager for the NWA Kiva US microloan program, a former small business banker and attorney, and she is very active with many Northwest Arkansas chambers of commerce and business networking groups in the region.
