Hennepin County 2024 Construction Networking Event - Exhibitor Registration

It’s that time of the year again!

On behalf of Hennepin County, I would like to invite your organization to participate in our 2024 Construction Networking Event. Last year’s event was a remarkable success thanks to your support and participation!

This event is intended to bring together:

Minnesota’s premier general contractors

Local resource providers

Local small/emerging

• general contractors
• subcontractors
• suppliers

Exhibitors will learn:

• Each small business and their capabilities

Small business owners will learn:

• Upcoming opportunities available in 2024 -2025
• Resources available to grow their business
• Ways of connecting with your project teams

Small business owners received contract opportunities as a direct result of participating in this annual event

Invited exhibitors include:

• Hennepin County construction departments
• local resource providers
• MN’s largest vertical and horizontal general contractors

Event Details:

• Date: Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Location: 1256 Penn Ave N, Minneapolis, MN 55411 - 5th floor
• Free ramp parking. Take elevator to the 5th floor
• Share this event registration with members of your organization

Exhibitors are ask to registered by Monday, March 18, 2024

Additional information and instructions:

• This event is planned over the lunch hours and will begin promptly at 11:00 am. Please arrive no later than 10:30 am to set up of your booth.
• There is a free parking ramp connected to the building. Take the elevator to the 5th floor and follow the signs.
• Your organization is provided one booth at no cost. Tables include 2 chairs, however, feel free to bring as many representatives as you like.
• Bring tablecloths, brochures, handouts, candy, and promotional items. Water and snacks will be provided.
• Expect the small businesses will inquire about upcoming opportunities with your organization. If you find it helpful, be prepared to lead the conversation by having some questions ready to ask, such as:

o What are the primary services that you provide?

o Describe a recent project that your company worked on or completed.

o Are there project types your company is best suited for?

• Plan to commit to all 2 hours, and breakdown your booth no earlier than 1:00 pm
