About this Event
The Black Ram timber sale threatens nearly 4,000 acres of irreplaceable old-growth forest in Montana's Yaak Valley—a critical habitat for endangered species like grizzly bears, lynx, and wolverines. On February 6th, the Ninth District Court in Portland will hear the case that could determine the forest’s fate.
Ahead of this decision, join us on February 4th for a powerful arts rally to show that, in times of need, artists rise as voices for the voiceless, protecting wild places that cannot speak for themselves. Through music, poetry, writing, and film, we’ll demonstrate to our leaders that preserving our natural world is not just a policy debate but a moral imperative. Let’s gather to celebrate art’s ability to inspire action and strengthen our community’s resolve to save these forests for generations to come.
