Mark Brin, our friend, a beloved local dog groomer and volunteer who dedicates his time to Companion Pets of Cleveland, has been diagnosed with stage 3b lung cancer.
This amazing man helps animals find homes, provides care to them from foster to adoption, along with spay/neuter services, free vaccines, collars, leashes, food assistance, and much more.
Now, Mark is facing financial stress while he is currently going through challenging aggressive cancer treatment that includes chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Mark is very tired and weak; he cannot work his typical grooming and volunteer schedule as he is now requiring more rest than usual.
We are asking to please come together to support him through this unfortunate journey.
On Saturday, July 25th at 6 p.m., at Alcove Bar, 4262 Fulton Road in the Plaza, Jennifer Scholz will be hosting a boxed to-go spaghetti and meatball dinner for $15 each for Mark while we have the live virtual donation drawing for the five amazing prizes.
For your $100 donation, the prizes are as follows:
1) 3-night Premium Cabin Trip to Mohican State Park that sleeps 6 with 2 tickets for the River Run Canoe Livery and S’mores kit (8/28-8/30)
2) Coach Purse and Wallet
3) Patriotic alcohol-filled Cooler
4) 55-inch Smart TV
5) Dog Basket
We are selling tickets for $100 each. (If you are not local, please donate to the GoFundMe.)
There will also be a 50/50 drawing during the event. You do not need to be present to win. We will do a live drawing that anyone can watch on FB.
All proceeds, 100 percent, go directly to Mark. Please join us to support Mark by giving back to a man who is so generous with his time and attention to others, especially our pets.
