As America celebrates our 250th birthday, join this premier event with your family & friends to help Unfurl the World's Largest American Flag on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at Sandhills Global Event Center in Lincoln.The flag will be unfurled at dusk (after a training session with volunteers), as drones overhead provide beautiful patriotic lighting.
700-1,000 volunteers are needed, as the flag measures 250' x 505' and weighs 3,000 pounds.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
We will all have a lump in our throats as we raise our flag and remember all of those who have suffered, bled and died to keep her flying.
