Help Shape The Future of Public Health in Los Angeles County
About this Event
You're invited to a Los Angeles County Department of Public Health community meeting hosted by the Metro LA (SPA 4) Regional Health Office. An opportunity to share your ideas on how future Measure ER investments can best support the health and well-being of people and communities across Los Angeles County.
Los Angeles County voters recently approved the Essential Services Restoration Act (Measure ER), a temporary one-half cent (0.5%) sales tax that is expected to raise approximately $1 billion each year. These funds will help protect and strengthen essential County services, including healthcare, County hospitals and clinics, public health programs, and other safety-net services. LA County Department of Public Health wants to hear from people who live, work, and play in LA County. Join us to share your ideas and recommendations for how future Measure ER investments can improve the health and wellbeing of people and communities across LA County.
During the meetings, we will:
- Share information about public health and Measure ER
- Gather your ideas and recommendations for future Measure ER investments
- Invite participants to complete an anonymous survey to share their recommendations
Your voice matters.
The recommendations we hear from communities across Los Angeles County will help inform future planning and investment discussions related to Measure ER.
