Before Rizpah Bellard was a candidate for Fresno Unified School Board Trustee, she was learning, growing, and building community right here in Oakland, CA. The Town helped shape her — Cleveland Elementary School, Bret Harte Middle School, De Fremery Park, the Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts — and now she's running to bring that same spirit of opportunity and excellence to the students of Southwest Fresno.
Join us Saturday, June 27 from 4–8 PM at 330 2nd St as Oakland pours back into one of its own. Rizpah is an educator, second-generation Black rancher, and community builder running for an open seat in November — and races like hers are won or lost on resources. You don't have to live in Fresno to invest in what she represents: Black leadership, hands-on education, and a generation of kids who deserve someone fighting for them.
