About this Event
Bring your pet or a photo and get a portrait that will be cherished forever!
We'll also have a selfie moment, fun activities and treats for both humans and their fur babies.Sundowners and Hot Dogs, (beef/vegan) for the humans, and Happy Hounds CBD Dog Treats for the pups.
Where's the money going?
It takes only $140 to feed one child for the whole school year!
Here is what their meals are like:
BREAKFAST
2.5 oz of unga (cornmeal)
1 oz of soy flour
Tea with milk and sugar
LUNCH or DINNER (lunch should be provided by the government, but often it is not)
5 oz of maize or unga
1.5 oz beans
At the moment we have 1,200 elementary school students who depend on us for their meals.Thank you for your support. Your generosity and kindness is greatly appreciated.

The worlds of fashion, society and pop culture are explored through the illustrations of Manuel Santelices, a Chilean artist and journalist living and working in New York for the last 20 years. After writing stories about style, design, art and politics for a number of magazines, including the Spanish editions of Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Esquire, and being a fashion writer in New York for Vogue Mexico and Latin American for 7 years, Manuel decided to focus his attention on illustration, painting mostly with watercolors the same characters and events he covered as a journalist. https://www.manuelsantelices.com

Well-known artist Joann Flaherty, is a Pratt Institute honors graduate. Joann started her career as a motion graphic design artist for various TV stations. Among many awards, she’s won multiple Emmy’s for The MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, NBC Sports & News for individual outstanding achievements. This allowed for travel throughout the country and abroad. She has always been an illustrator. Your portraits will be lovingly, and professionally drawn. Joann works closely with all clients and puts her heart into it. Drawing your loved ones makes her feel as though she gets to know them! "It’s very exciting. I look forward to creating one for you," said the artist.
