Help Keep Our Community Driving Safely- Become a CarFit Technician
This hands-on training prepares participants to serve as CarFit Technicians and Event Coordinators, equipping you with the skills to bring CarFit events to your community and help older adults stay safe behind the wheel.
During the training, you will learn:
• Proper driving position for safety and comfort
• Key vehicle safety features
• The 12-point CarFit assessment process
• How to assist as a CarFit technician
• How to plan and coordinate local CarFit events
• Ways to connect older adults with helpful driving resources
Who should attend?
Healthcare professionals, EMS, fire, law enforcement, and community partners are encouraged to register.
Training Schedule:
• Technician Training: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
• Coordinator Training: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
