HELLSHOCK - USA - everything crustcore & old school death metal #undergroundlegend. 'Coming from the famous Portland crust punk scene which gave birth to important bands such as Severed Head of State, Tragedy and From Ashes Rise, apocalyptic war prophets Hellshock is very different from the modern trend of blackened crust bands.
Hellshock delivers their own brand of metal-influenced crust. With ex-members of Detestation, From Ashes Rise and Remains of the Day, that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone involved and interested in this scene.
With lyrics almost exclusively about war and the coming apocalypse, their music offers the usual misanthropic stenchcore feeling of disgust and distrust of humanity, a whole rejection of modern civilization and its consequences on human kind and especially on the planet we call our Mother…'

'Their seven-track EP blends catchy garage-rock hooks with the raw clatter of traditional punk. The buzzing guitars, pounding rhythms, and shouted—almost Oi!-style—vocals give the record a gritty, unpolished charm. Every song bursts with energy, gets in, and gets out before it overstays its welcome. It’s the kind of music that thrives on simplicity, but it’s executed with enough flair to leave a lasting impression.
What really sets Fuck You! Dracu apart is their playful, zero-fucks-given attitude. The lyrics, all sung in Romanian, have a comical and almost childish edge—at least as far as Google Translate and my Romanian pals can tell me. But that’s part of the appeal. Not every punk release needs to take itself too seriously, and this record reminds us how fun and irreverent the genre can be.'
