Visit Winona’s Hello Winona! meet-up series offers community members new to the area an opportunity to connect with one another and the area’s best attractions and businesses through quarterly, free events specifically catering to new area residents.Save the Date and RSVP today for this Summer’s Hello Winona! program on Wednesday, July 24 from 6:30-9pm.
The gathering will begin at Winona’s Victorian gem, the Alexander Mansion Bed & Breakfast, where innkeeper/owner Richard Grabow will share an exclusive tour with attendees. Once home to Winona’s elite, the Alexander Mansion has been restored to its full splendor with every attention to luxury and historic detail. This bed and breakfast mansion celebrates the legacy of life lived grandly along the Mississippi River, while providing modern-day comfort, convenience, and amenities, not to mention the 4+ course breakfast served to guests daily!
Hello Winona! participants will then gather at the historic bandshell in Lake Park to enjoy an outdoor summer concert by our own Winona Municipal Band from 8-9pm. These free performances are offered weekly through mid-August by the Winona Municipal Band, the oldest continually performing city band west of the Mississippi River. The historic Lake Park Bandshell is also celebrating a milestone centennial anniversary this year.
