Join us for an intimate evening of chamber music by the renowned Helicon Ensemble. Presenting “Children of Orpheus", Helicon will highlight the music of Arcangelo Corelli (1653-1713), his noteworthy students, and musical homages from composers of following generations. Corelli’s influence would come to be a defining element of the Baroque style.
Founded in 1985 by Albert Fuller, Helicon explores chamber music in an historical context. Its 2026-27 season includes performances at The Baryshnikov Arts Center and The Frick Collection, in addition to St. James the Less. Helicon has been presented by Carnegie Hall and has co-produced events with Yale University and The Morgan Library, among other organizations.
Come early at 6:30, for a pre-concert reception with champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Tickets available on our website, QR code, or cash at the door. Advance tickets preferred.
