Held In Our Hearts, baby loss counselling and support charity, are delighted to invite you once again to join us at Hopetoun House on Sunday, 2 February 2025 for our Snowdrop Walk. This event offers you an opportunity to come together with other families in the community to remember your beloved babies and to plant snowdrops in their memory.The event will primarily take place outdoors, so please come prepared for the unpredictable Scottish weather!
Please present your Ticket Tailor booking confirmation at the gate, where stewards will guide you to free parking. We will meet in the Carriage Room of the House first for refreshments and conversation before walking to the snowdrop woods for a short commemoration followed by the planting. After that, you will have the freedom to wander and enjoy the grounds at your leisure.
We will be running two sessions: one at 11:00 am and another at 1:00 pm (please note this is a ticketed* event, separate tickets are required for each group session).
Each session will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours:
- Group 1: 11:00 am -12:00 pm – Refreshments, followed by the planting walk at 12:00 pm.
- Group 2: 1:00 pm -2:00 pm – Refreshments, followed by the planting walk at 2:00 pm.
These sessions are open to all ages. As numbers are limited due to room capacity, we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment. Adult tickets are sold separately; children's tickets are free but must be selected.
Hopetoun House provide a limited number of trowels, if you own your own please do bring it along.
*Ticket costs go entirely towards supporting the charity and covering catering expenses for the day. We are especially grateful for the generous support from Hopetoun House, who have allowed us to use their facility and access the snowdrops and grounds on the day.
