Discover your confidence and grace in heels dance! In this sexy and fun class, we will practice the fundamentals of strength, control and fluidity to make you feel empowered and confident in your heels. Each session will consist of a warm up and stretch, heels technique practice, and learning segments of choreography. Non-dancers and beginners are welcome at every class!
What to wear:
- Dance Heels (always optional; bare feet or socks are also fine) - look for a shoe with a shorter heel (1 to 4 inches) and no platform so you can feel the ground and flex/point your feet. Ballroom/Latin dance booties or shoes are great choices for those looking to purchase new.
-Knee pads - the studio has a limited number available to borrow; students are encouraged to bring their own. These will make floor work much more approachable.
-Comfortable clothes that allow movement (bonus points for outfits that make you feel cute/sexy/empowered/creative!)
Other items to bring: water bottle
