This FREE, hands-on, introductory Heavy-Duty Service Oiler training is scheduled Monday through Friday, August 19-23, 2024, 8 am to 5 pm each day.
Training covers an introduction to apprenticeship, road construction, shop work, pit work, fuel points, lube points, inspection, and problem identification.
Also covered will be specific duties of an oiler, responsibilities, punctuality and skill set, work ethic expectations, time management and attitude.
**All applicants must provide the following documents for acceptance into the training program: a copy of your birth certificate, high school diploma or GED, high school transcripts or GED scores, Social Security card, DD214 (veterans only), a valid driver’s license.**

This training opportunity is designed to provide participants with an experiential understanding of a career in the construction trades and to enhance participants' abilities to gain employment within the construction industry.

-Participants must be available all five days of training.

-All applicants must participate in the interview process to be considered for final placement in training.
