Big Band of Boom (12 piece rock band with kick ass horns section) join forces with Heavy Beat Brass Band (New Orleans Swing heavy weights from the festival scene) for a double headline show!

Both bands have been tearing up the Festival circuit this year across the UK /Europe, and Charlie who also plays in both outfits as well as the infamous New York Brass Band has brought both acts to his home town for a show like no other!

Big Band of Boom - Birmingham's rock juggernaut; This 12-piece behemoth is set to redefine everything you know about heavy guitars and big-band brass! Imagine the K*ll Bill soundtrack played by Rage Against the Machine with an orchestra…sonically expansive, cinematic, and uncompromising.

Known for an electrifying live-show, BBOB have already graced some of the most prestigious festival stages across the UK and Europe including Boomtown, Northside, Rudolstadt and Camp Bestival as well as hosting and programming their own stage at Shambala Festival.

Their Debut album released March 2026 and has already received BBC Radio 6 airplay after Craig Charles spotted the band at Moseley Jazz Festival and left him feeling “really really impressed”. Singles Energy Vampire, Earthquake and Stupid Filthy Rich encapsulate the energy that the Big Band of Boom bring to the live stage

Heavy Beat Brass Band are an 8-piece contemporary New Orleans brass band based in the UK, bringing second line rhythms and modern street energy to major festival stages.

They’ve appeared at Shambala, Boomtown, Download Festival, Rudolstadt Festival (Germany) and Northside Festival (Denmark), and regularly double as the horn section for Electric Swing Circus’ Big Band of Boom.

Rooted in the New Orleans playbook but built for UK festival crowds, their set blends classic brass band repertoire with heavyweight arrangements and explosive improvisation. The result is high-impact, call-and-response driven shows designed to move a crowd — loud, physical and impossible to ignore.
