Laurie Fagen and Nicole McCaigue present Heavenly Breeze, an exhibit of their mixed-media art and a collaborative piece of the same name.Fagen transfers original photos to fabric and then enhances them with metallic and rayon threads. “I enjoy playing with many different surface design techniques.” Fagen has shown her work in galleries around the country and is available to share her classes in surface design embellishment, metal clay, polymer clay, and other techniques and projects.
McCaigue is a self-proclaimed dreamer. Her work celebrates nature and life and is painted in many layers to produce depth. “I create art that transports me to an ideal outdoor setting where patterns and colors swirl and mix to create a place of wonder and joy.” McCaigue has shown her work in galleries throughout Arizona.
