.On Friday, February 20th, we are excited to present these great Australian legends from the 80s! Heaven was a heavy metal band known for their success in the 1980s, particularly in the United States, where they toured with acts like Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, and Black Sabbath. The band has reformed and is currently touring Australia.
Heaven signed with Michael Browning's DeLuxe Records (also home to INXS) and released albums such as *Twilight of Mischief* (1982) and *Where Angels Fear to Tread* (1983). Their single "Rock School" received heavy airplay on MTV, and their cover of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" was a standout track.
The current lineup includes original members Laurie Marlow (bass) and John Haese (rhythm guitar), along with Steve Down (lead guitar), Mick O'Shea (drums), and Peter Millwood (lead vocals). They will be rocking Scotties Stage, supported by Kings of Vengeance and The Dreadful Tides.
