About this Event
The purpose of the event is to present what degree of decarbonisation and savings are possible today for existing buildings thanks to the latest technologies. The intention is to convey a positive narrative around renovations for all kinds of buildings and the economic and environmental benefits these bring to owners and tenants, with a special attention to the role that energy communities can play in this process.
The event is taking place in the context of the one-week exhibition “Rethinking European Housing” organised by the European Environmental Bureau and several other partners around the concept of rethinking buildings of today.
With three sessions focusing on space use, materials and energy use, the exhibition will host several events, and every day will have a focus on a specific section of the exhibition.
Thursday, Nov 7th will be the day dedicated to heating and cooling. Right after the event there will be a guided tour of the exhibition, with a special focus on the heating and cooling technologies
What can you expect from this event?
- Learning about the heating and cooling technologies of today and their availability for the different types of buildings.
- Learning about the synergies between the different renewable technologies such as solar technologies and the different types of heat pumps
