Heat rising: a evening of improvisational creation

Heat Rising improv night is a welcoming space where artists come together to explore, create, and connect through improvisation. Rooted in movement and dance, celebrating multidisciplinary expression, welcoming dancers, visual artists, writers, musicians, and creatives of all kinds.
The two-hour experience begins with a 30-minute yoga-based warm-up led by Dawn Cassizzi, offering participants a chance to ground, awaken the body, and arrive fully in the space. From there, we’ll move into a facilitated improvisational jam, using movement prompts and creative cues as invitations to explore, respond, and create in the moment.
