Join local jeweler and metalsmith Lucky Lady at this hands-on, after hours event at Heat Check!

Participants will learn the ancient art of carving rings from wax, which will later be transformed into sterling silver pieces through the lost wax casting method.

This includes a basic introduction to the tools and techniques of wax carving, including the use of knives, files, and specialized tools to shape, smooth, and detail the wax.

After completing your carving, the completed wax mold will be prepared for the lost wax casting process where they’ll be cast in sterling silver. Your finished, polished ring will then be available for pick up at Heat Check 4-5 weeks later.
