About this Event

This class provides training in First Aid, CPR, and AED use for individuals with limited or no medical training as well as healthcare providers who need certification to meet employment, regulatory, or professional requirements. This may include daycare workers and owners, teachers, OSHA-compliant factory employees, government workers, healthcare professionals, and others who need to know how to respond to emergencies in workplace, community, in-facility, or pre-hospital settings. Members of the general public are also welcome to attend.

Participants will learn how to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide First Aid, perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, deliver appropriate ventilations, and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in both in-hospital and out-of-hospital environments.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a two-year American Heart Association course completion card.

Please designate if you are a healthcare provider or not when registering.
