No tickets needed - Heartland Musicians Abroad will be performing live in Salzburg during their European concert tour. Come enjoy an evening of music by talented young musicians from the United States.
Musicians Abroad ensembles consist of student performers from the United States of America. Today’s performers come from the states of Kansas and Missouri. Each performer you will hear today has spent many hours perfecting their musical skills.
Tour preparation began nearly 19 months ago. Music educators in each region nominated their finest performers, based not only on their musical skills, but also their character and displayed leadership.
The group gathered state-side for a few days of rehearsal in preparation for this once-in-a-lifetime International Music Experience!
In addition to several performances while in European countries, this Musicians Abroad tour provides time for sightseeing, experiencing local culture, shopping and enjoying delicious cuisine.
This group is from America’s Heartland, including the state of Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri. Known for steaks, Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and being as flat as a pancake, Kansas is believed to be named after a Native American tribe whose name means people of the wind.
