The Heart of ABQ 6.6K presented by New Mexico True is a unique community walk and speed-walk celebration honoring 99 Years of Central Avenue and historic Route 66 while bringing people together in the heart of Albuquerque’s International District.

Hosted by the Juneteenth Renaissance Institute, the Heart of ABQ 6.6K presented by New Mexico True is a family-friendly event celebrating community connection, culture, and wellness. Participants will take part in a 6.6-kilometer walk/run experience through the area while enjoying a lively atmosphere filled with music, activities, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and businesses.
