The year is GALLOPING ahead... and soon we meet again- in community- to do what we love, all over again!!!
This is no small thing.
What a joy and a privilege it has been to hold this space for so long - for so many of you, and for this practice. I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather be doing... so lessssgoooo!!!
🏦 FINANCIAL REALITY CHECK
These are crazy times. So many of us are living on the edge-financially, mentally, emotionally... and globally.
Dance should not be a special-occasion expense or a privilege reserved for those who can easily afford it.
Dance is mental health care.
Dance is community welfare.
Dance is emotional self-care.
So yes... while (literally!) all of my costs for running these interstate events have gone up, I've decided to reduce the ticket price for the Melbourne dances until the end of the year to help keep Heart Dance accessible to everyone.
Please don't deny yourself dance for financial reasons. There is always a way. I truly hope this little gesture scoops you up and plonks you onto our dance floor with a little more ease...

This is where we drop in deep to meet the moment through movement, music, intention, breath and flesh.
CONSCIOUS DANCE is our medicine, our mantra and our practice of healing.
Our Heart Dance floor is a safe, inclusive, intoxicant-free and clear space. All genders, beliefs, levels of dance experience, abilities, disabilities and mobilities are warmly welcome here.

We dance with respect and immense gratitude on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people, acknowledging that sovereignty was never ceded. A portion of every Heart Dance is donated to a local Indigenous-led organisation.

🤍 Liat has been facilitating conscious dance classes and workshops for over 25 years and is a dance therapist, trainer and mentor for OFI Teachers-in-Training around the world.
🤍 If you are unwell, please take care of our community by staying home.
🤍 Please note this is no longer a family-friendly event. Dancers aged 12 and over are welcome.
🤍 Absolutely no aggression will be tolerated on the dance floor.
🤍 Phones off. Clothes on. See you on the dance floor!
