Heart Centered Breathwork - A Full Moon Journey Into the Heart
About this Event
This gentle breathwork journey is designed to guide you into deeper connection with your heart's intelligence and the wisdom of your body. This journey falls on July's Full Buck Moon — the first full moon of summer, traditionally a time of shedding what no longer serves you and growing into something stronger. It's a fitting backdrop for moving stuck energy and reconnecting with your heart's truth.
Breathwork can support a calmer, more regulated nervous system, deeper sleep, and more energy and mental clarity. People come away having released emotions they didn't know they were carrying, or with profound insight or clarity they'd been searching for. Many experience emotional release, spiritual insight, or simply a full-bodied sense of calm and peace. Each person's journey is uniquely their own, making this a unique portal for self-discovery and growth.
What to Expect
The two-hour experience begins with an opening circle, where you'll learn about breathwork, the technique we'll use, and what to expect. You'll then settle into your cozy nest of yoga mat, blanket, pillow, and eye mask for an hour of guided breathwork synchronized to music — about thirty minutes using the circular, rebirthing breath, followed by relaxed breathing and integration. We'll close with time for sharing and processing, so you can be witnessed and supported in integrating whatever emerged for you during the journey.
What to Bring & How to Prepare
Everything you need for your "nest" is provided — yoga mats, blankets, bolsters, pillows, and eye masks. You're welcome to bring your own or anything extra that adds to your comfort.
If desired, bring:
- Journal and pen
- Water in a closed container
- Lip balm
Hydrate well, limit caffeine and avoid alcohol beforehand — breathwork is a sober modality. Eat lightly a few hours before your session so your body isn't focused on digestion. If possible, leave space in your schedule afterward in case you need more time to process and be with whatever came up.
