About this Event
For nearly 100 years, HEAR Wisconsin has been providing vital services to an under-served, under-resourced population who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH). This nonprofit organization helps infants, children and adults with hearing loss by eliminating communication and language barriers through personalized services, technology, and education.
HEAR Wisconsin is the most comprehensive nonprofit organization providing services to D/HH clients in the state. Because there is no one right way for every person or family to cope with the challenges of hearing loss, HEAR Wisconsin provides services across the spectrum of communication and technology options, most recently their Mobile Audiology Clinic takes to the road to bring the services to communities! At HEAR Wisconsin, clients have the opportunity to make decisions and select a treatment plan that best meets their needs and goals.
We are pleased to welcome Jill Van Calster-President and CEO, and Kristin Johnson-Director of Fund Development, two of the dedicated staff members who ardently work for the continued success of HEAR Wisconsin.
Please join us as they provide an overview of this remarkable organization, talk about their upcoming 100th anniversary, and share stories on the impact the services have had to individuals.
On the same day they speak to us they will also be hosting HEAR Wisconsin's annual Donor Appreciation Event. Sponsored by Bob Frisch, WCW has proudly provided grant funds to this organization and we look forward to the opportunity for continued collaboration.
