Come out and listen an incredible story from our own Dorman Vick about vision, grit, and community, the building of Boerne’s Samuel V. Champions Ag Mechanics and Welding Program, now one of the most inspiring vocational education success stories in Texas.
From a testimony by John Byron Strait, George Strait’s father, to a life-changing call from an American hero, every moment helped shape this program’s 21-year journey. And now, it’s reaching new heights thanks to the Welding Student Support Foundation, founded by Lt. General Leroy Sisco. Because of this foundation, our students are doing projects that once seemed impossible.
The program has major backing, including strong support from former Texas Governor and U.S. Secretary of Energy Rick Perry, who’s 1000% behind our mission to bring vocational education back bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.
