Does anyone else miss the excitement of travel and exposure to cultures not easily found in North Carolina? “Think globally, dance locally” is our new motto, so we’re hosting an eclectic line-up of musicians for “Hear and There,” your passport to celebrate the sounds of the world.Stop by at lunchtime on Wednesdays to hear international instruments and grooves on the BeatBox stage.

Sheila Casalett, a North Carolina native and Raleigh-based musician, delivers a multilingual, multicultural set blending classic American standards with beachy Brazilian Bossa Nova, stylish Parisian chanson, traditional Latin boleros, and timeless Italian melodies through velvety vocals and smooth nylon string guitar. Go global. Locally.
Our musical performances happen under our covered Pavilion on the BeatBox stage–weather response subject to safety conditions onstage.
