About this Event
This one day event brings together four experts who will present on their work tied to healthy work and workplaces. Once registered, more information will be emailed closer to the time of the event. Including how to access the event for our online attendees.
An overview of the speakers and topics is copied below:
9:30 -- coffee and registration
10am -- Dr. Karen Maher -- Problematic substance use in healthcare: supporting staff and breaking stigma
11am -- Dr. Andrew Clements -- Decent work in the police: Working practices, wellbeing, and careers
12pm -- Lunch break
1pm -- Dr. Rachel Shaw -- The SWell Project: Working with the NHS to improve staff wellbeing in paediatric critical care
2pm -- Prof. Gail Kidman -- Enhancing wellbeing in social care: multi-level interventions
In person places are limited to 30 people, with a further 100 places available for online participation (via MS Teams). The event is taking place at Conference Aston in Meeting Room 127. The formal presentation section of the event begins promptly at 10am.
This event is hosted by the Healthy Work Research Unit, based in the Department of Work and Organisation at Aston University. We are grateful to the Research and Knowledge Exchange office for funding to make this event possible.
