Healthy Steps for Older Adults

At the Axiom Brain Health C.O.R.E., we are offering an exclusive and valuable program covering topics such as proper footwear, safety at home, good nutrition for bone health and the importance of exercise. Typically presented exclusively in partnership with the YMCA, Healthy Steps for Older Adults is an evidence-based fall risk screening and education class for adults aged 65 and older. This program is offered at no cost thanks to funding from the ACL grant. Generally a 2-day program, Axiom is proud to offer this workshop in a more condensed format, with a break in the middle for snacks and a light lunch. Raffle prizes will be given at the end of the event. Please come prepared to learn about how to live a full and active life, free from the fear of falling.
