About this Event

Join us on May 30 for our first outdoor HIIT class of the summer to celebrate Healthy on the Hudson and lululemon’s Get Into It campaign. This campaign invites us to challenge conventional ways of working out and courageously dive into the world of new-age performance with confidence. The class will be taught by lululemon ambassadors Sydney Miller and Matt James.


SYDNEY MILLER was born and raised in NYC and is a lifelong athlete and former collegiate swimmer. She began her career as a school teacher and later picked up fitness instruction as a way to engage learning through the physical body: a vehicle for release, empowerment and connection.

Syd began teaching indoor cycling and then broke into the world of boxing as an amateur fighter and coach, personal training and nutrition coaching. After teaching fitness across the globe, Syd is back in her hometown of NYC coaching at Overthrow Boxing club and runs her own business, S:Box Training, which offers both individual and group coaching.


MATT JAMES is an American television personality, entrepreneur, philanthropist and activist, most known for his historical role as the first Black male lead on ABC’s hit show, The Bachelor and his participation on Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars.

Born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, Matt played sports since childhood. After a football career spanning through Wake Forest, the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints, Matt co-founded ABC Food Tours, which creates experiences for students facing challenges associated with living in poverty in NYC. He currently splits his time between New York City and South Florida and spends his off time skateboarding, running and fueling his affinity for trying new foods and of course, TikTok.


All summer, Hudson River Park, in partnership with lululemon, has teamed up with some of the best in fitness to bring you a dynamic lineup of Healthy on the Hudson classes this summer. Join us on Tuesday at Hudson River Park's Pier 25 from 6:30 - 7:30 PM for free HIIT classes. These free workouts are adaptable to all levels and are here to help you stay active outdoors!

Registration in advance is required for this event. **Bring your own mat for class!**

Yoga
