Speaker Bio: Sean Fox
For over 25 years, Sean has been passionate about horticulture, especially native plants and their ecological origins. As a trained horticulturist, ISA Certified Arborist, and rare plant conservationist, he has worked at the University of Guelph’s Arboretum for over two decades, currently as Senior Research Associate. Sean also serves as Seed Acquisition Manager & Field Botanist at Verbinnen’s Nursery, helping to cultivate native plants for distribution. Additionally, he consults at Foxwood Botanical on various projects, from botanical publications to ecological restoration. Sean frequently lectures and contributes to industry and mainstream publications, sharing his extensive knowledge and passion for plants.
