Part of our "Places" monthly training series, educating residents on topics of community development and connecting to resources.
About this Event

In this training, you will learn how environmental issues—like flooding, nearby industry, illegal dumping, or lack of trees—affect health, safety, and property values in your neighborhood. We will introduce terms like “brownfield” (land that may be polluted) and map local environmental “hot spots” and opportunities together. We will also explore how caring for land and pushing for fair environmental decisions can both protect your health and build long-term neighborhood wealth.
