This special summer storytime explores important health and safety topics for kids through picture books, crafts, and discussion. Clearwater Library, Suncoast Center, Clearwater Police Department, and Baycare Kids join together to bring these topics to life in a fun way for our youngest learners. Here are the list of storytimes:
Week 1 (June 3): Social and Emotional Skills Storytime
Join us for an interactive storytime that focuses on developing children's social and emotional health through engaging stories, crafts, and activities. Presented by Suncoast Center.
Week 2 (June 10): "Josh the Otter" (Water Safety)
Presented by Baycare Kids
Week 3 (June 17): "Police Storytime" (Safety)
Presented by Clearwater Library and Clearwater Police Department.
Week 4 (June 24): "I Can Eat a Rainbow" (Nutrition and Food Choices). Presented by Baycare Kids.
Week 5 (July 1): Social and Emotional Skills
Join us for an interactive storytime that focuses on developing children's social and emotional health through engaging stories, crafts, and activities. Presented by Suncoast Center.
Week 6 (July 8): Hurricane Safety for Kids & Families
Presented by Clearwater Emergency Management.
Week 7 (July 15): "Teddy Bear Clinic" (Going to the Doctor/ Handwashing skills). Presented by Baycare Kids.
Week 8 (July 22): "Dental Health"
Presented by Dr Maggie Davis Dentists Office.
