(Health Emergency Life Protection) at MDPLS (Library) in Main Library

The Health Emergency Life Protection (HELP) course will give individuals the skills to take immediate action to help victims of medical emergencies while responders are on the way. HELP teaches the basic lifesaving skills of adult and pediatric hands-only CPR, early stroke recognition, stopping the bleed, and blocked airway emergencies for adults, children, and infants. This course includes an interactive lecture and hands-on skills education to make it informational, applicable and enjoyable for all attendees. This event is being hosted by the Miami Dade Public Library System.
