EXPLORE, PREPARE, IGNITE.

High school students ages 14-17 are invited to join an immersive, hands-on summer day camp designed to inspire and prepare the next generation of health professionals. Camp runs from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm daily.

During this exciting camp, students will:

  • Become First Aid/CPR/AED, EpiPen and Asthma certified through the Red Cross
  • Become teen Mental Health First Aid certified through Northland Family Help Center
  • Experience life as an NAU Lumberjack, through campus excursions and two meals in a university dining hall
  • Learn about applying to college, preparing for higher education, and what it’s like to attend Northern Arizona University
  • Explore in-demand health careers through engaging, hands-on activities with NAU faculty, students, alumni and professionals in the field

Students will also receive:

  • A $25 gift card for completing the teen Mental Health First Aid course
  • A CHHS t-shirt and tote bag

Family Celebration | Parents and families are invited to join students and the College of Health and Human Services on the last day of camp, Friday, July 17 at 3:00 pm, to celebrate the successful completion of the program and to learn more about the health careers available to their students.
