Hey nurses, patient care techs, physicians, housekeepers, respiratory therapists, administrators, pharmacists, dieticians, social workers, OTs, PTs, Speech therapists, radiologic techs, clerks, food prep peeps, supervisors, psychologists, therapists, phlebotomists, etc.:
May 6th to 10th is UNMH Health Care Workers Week and we are going to throw a silent disco party on the plaza between the main hospital and the BBRP on Friday May 10th from 11 am to 1 PM to celebrate you and the hard work you do and also to provide an opportunity to get some fresh air and sunshine and listen to some music and dance if you feel like it!
We use a three channel radio frequency headphone system which gives you a choice on what you are listening to and independent volume control.
If you are working that day swing by for a bit and say 'hi' or come over for your lunch break if you can! Even if you aren't working it would be great to see you! Our jobs are stressful and dancing and music are so good for us so please take a break and join us! Plus we have always have some fun shwag!
If you can bike or walk it you will save yourself some parking hassle but if you do drive you can use the newer parking structure and walk over or use the cart shuttles they have....
