Step into the Treehouse at Rooted Heart Yoga & Wellness and be welcomed by warm herbal tea and the soft, melodic strings of a live violin played by violinist Will Gunn as an invitation to settle into your parasympathetic state the moment you arrive. You’ll pull an oracle card, with the option to read its message or simply use it as your consent card for optional hands-on touch throughout your meditative practice.
From there, you’ll find your way onto your mat and be gently guided into your body by registered yoga teacher Brianna Amendola through slow, intentional movement and stretching to clear stagnant energy before we transition into stillness. In stillness, you’ll journey through waves of crystal singing bowl frequencies and live violin designed to soothe your nervous system, calm your mind, and drop you into a meditative, restorative state.
Many people describe sensations of deep peace, emotional release, heart opening, spaciousness, and even euphoria in this level of surrender. As the soundscape softens and you return to your breath, you’ll be guided back into your body with grounding techniques to help you integrate what you experienced. We’ll close with a few moments of reflection, gratitude, and optional journaling if you brought yours.
