Healing through Story: Workplace Trauma and Resilience among Women
When working with women 1:1 through workplace adversity, the number one follow-up request was wanting to connect with other womens' stories meaningfully. This group session is the first step to creating a communal space where stories can be shared safely for the purposes of healing and support. You will:
- Understand the collective experience of women navigating workplace adversity: Based on dozens of women we have served, what are the common adversities that mid-career women are facing? Why do women feel so isolated, and why is it so challenging to get support?
- Participate in an experience of healing in the context of community -- with Rebecca’s facilitation, you will have an opportunity to step into a part of Karen’s story and practice helping someone else develop a narrative of resilience that facilitates healing after an adverse experience. (Stepping into someone else's story helps you process your own narrative of resilience).
- Learn about the journey of healing and regaining self confidence after traumatic experiences, in the company of other women who get it.
- Receive tools on how to write your narrative of resilience.
"Empowering, inspiring, soul-lifting. It helped me realize that I'm not alone."
"The generosity and care in the space helped me process what I've been through."
Please note that this is a confidential session. There will be no recordings. If cost stands in the way of you accessing this experience, please write to us.
