Healing Through Sound with Tommy Klepper

In Tommy’s soundbaths he employs techniques of the East and the West. Tibetan metal bowls, crystal bowls, tanpura, harmonium, shakers, voice, and various other instruments are used to create an experience of sound healing that includes traditions from around the globe.

The session will begin with some breathing exercises and omkar sadhana (chanting om) after which the soundbath will begin. Join us for a journey through sound and a journey within as we work to heal and revitalize our physical body, our mental well-being and nourish the self.

About Tommy: Tommy is a teacher of yoga and meditation, a facilitator of pranayama and sound baths. He began this journey in 2007 in the Indian Himalayas and he has since continued to expand his knowledge and experience of healing and wellness modalities. He currently teaches yoga and meditation around LA, and facilitates soundbaths and yoga nidra for the employees of the LA County Health Services Department. He is also a student of sitar and studies under Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan. He can be seen performing soundbaths and Indian Classical music with his group Saffron Skies around the LA area.

Checking In: We are located at 553 S. Lake Ave and will begin check-in at 6:40 PM. Please arrive on time as we will be locking the doors at 7:05 PM. You can park in the Pavilion's parking lot located on California Ave. There's a flight of stairs that leads up to the studio. There is also free parking on Lake Ave. on Sunday.

Please bring your own yoga mat and anything else you may need for the sound bath (pillows, etc). We have yoga bolsters, blankets and props available, as well as mat rentals.
