Healing the Father Wound (with Family Constellations) - Sept - Oct
About this Event
A 3 session closed group for 6 participants.
The dates of this workshop are Wed 9 & 23 Sept & 7 Oct - please ensure you can attend all days.
times: 6.30-9.30pm
This unique closed group offers the opportunity for 6 participants over 3 sessions to journey together to heal the father wound. Each participant will have the chance to have their own constellation as well as gaining healing from representing and witnessing the constellations of others.
It's hard to conceptualise the ongoing ways a father wound can shape and limit us. It really is a core wound that can show up in all parts of our lives — relationships, career, money, financial stability, self worth, our sense of direction and place in the world.
Sometimes we end up forever waiting for our father to see us, to approve of us, to say the thing we've longed to hear. Sometimes we've ended up parenting our father or carrying his burden — becoming the strong one, the achiever, the peacekeeper, the one who holds it together — in an attempt to give him what he needs so he can show up for us.
We might have turned that absence inwards, believing we weren't worth staying for, worth protecting, worth being proud of. We can create patterns where we overwork to prove our value, or shrink from stepping into our own authority. We may struggle to trust, to rest, to let ourselves be supported. Feeling we have to do it all alone.
In constellations work, the father is often our doorway to the outer world — to purpose, provision, and the courage to take our place in life. When that connection is disrupted, we can feel we're pushing against the world rather than being met by it.
Family constellations uniquely can assist us in accepting our father for who he is and what he can and can't give us.
And help us connect with ancestors (back before the trouble started) or archetypes that can step in and provide us with the felt sense of being supported, backed and blessed that was sadly missing.
We can also start to connect to our loving father within.
Held together in this group, we join in deep understanding and compassion for each other and ourselves. Sitting with others who get it. And going on a healing journey together. Peeling the layers of the onion to return ourselves to wholeness and a felt sense of inner resourcing.
This group is open to all genders. Whatever your relationship with your father — present, absent, complicated, unknown — you are welcome here.

‘I’ve discovered family constellations in the last 6 months. After hearing people talk about them from years, it finally aligned for me. And wow, I have been blown away with the process both representing for others and when exploring my own question. After each session I have left with a deeper understanding of my family system and profound sense of energy shifting. The constellations have helped me connect deeper to my own body, in understanding and trusting physical signals. Each constellation is unique - you have to try it to feel the magic. Emma is an amazing space holder and guides in a gentle but strong way. If you feel intrigued - I really recommend this work, for deep healing.’ Charli
What to Expect at this Family Constellation Closed Group
These sessions offer a unique opportunity to work with the same group of 6 people over 3 sessions on the theme of healing the father wound.
Each session we'll have a brief check in followed by 2 whole group constellations, where healing unfolds for everyone involved. For each constellation an issue holder will be selected from those who wish to volunteer, and other participants will take on roles as Representatives—standing in for family members or holding space as witnesses to the work.
Over the 3 sessions each group member will have the chance to be an issue holder. We'll do 2 constellations per evening.
The constellation creates space for profound healing and transformation, for all present. Whether issue holder, representative or witness deep insights and shifts emerge.
Throughout the session, the facilitator ensures that everyone feels safe, supported, and comfortable as they engage in this transformative work.
No previous experience is necessary, the process is very simple and will be fully explained on the day.
