Dr. Will Tuttle, visionary author of the international best-seller The World Peace Diet, published in 16 languages, has lectured and performed widely throughout North America and worldwide. A featured expert in Cowspiracy and other documentary films, his doctorate degree from U.C., Berkeley, focused on educating intuition and altruism, and he has taught college courses in creativity, comparative religion, and philosophy. He’s a recipient of the prestigious Courage of Conscience Award and is a former Zen monk and Dharma Master in the Zen tradition. Writer of 5 other books, and creator of seven much-loved CD albums of original piano music, he’s noted for clear and inspiring presentations that often include his music as well as evocative animal paintings by his spouse, Madeleine, a visionary artist from Switzerland. Our evening will begin with introductory remarks by vegan author Christine Melanie Benson, whose debut novel, Marrying Myself, set in Boston and featuring a vegan protagonist named Julia Jones, has been described as an "anti-romance romance" that depicts veganism as sexy and appealing - and will undoubtedly get more than a few trying vegan cheesecake!

An attorney who’s been running from the law her entire professional life, Christine Melanie Benson is also a short story author, legal writer, news satire writer, and host of the Vegan Posse podcast. Her experience includes over a decade as a regular freelance legal writer for Baltimore’s The Daily Record law digest, and her fiction works have been featured in An Eclectic Mix Anthology, RomanticShorts.com, The Binnacle Maine Literary Journal, and satire website TheSpoof!. Marrying Myself is Christine’s first novel. Formerly of Boston and New York City, Christine now makes her home in Nashville, Tennessee.
