Mothers. All of us have/had one.

She provided her womb so that we may prepare to enter this world.

Where our commonalities might differ is how we feel about our mother’s mothering…was it amazing, good, bad or nonexistent? Was she emotionally unavailable, present but not “present, and/or doing the best she could?

Did her emotional, physical and psychological state while she carried us play an instrumental role in shaping our relationship with ourselves and others?

What if, despite our circumstances, WE chose her and she chose US prior to our birth? Suppose she was never meant to be “perfect” except for you?

We may dismiss the idea that anyone would purposely CHOOSE an “unhealthy” conception??!! That’s fair!!!!! Yet, what if it could potentially be the catalyst to unlocking the depth and clarity for experiencing healthy, healed relationships with onself and others.

In this series, we will explore two parts…whether EVERY circumstance surrounding our births may have been carefully designed and the impact our first home in this realm(the womb) may have played in shaping the adult we will and have become.
