Healing Her: Mind, Body, and the Bronx
About this Event
The event will feature women-led presenters and vendors, all set up in the gymnasium of the Hunts Points Recreation Center (765 Manida Street, Bronx, NY 10474). Vendors will be selling and promoting health and wellness products/ services in the Bronx.
Inside the main gymnasium floor, attendees will participate in rotating sessions that include mini presentations and mini demonstrations led by various health and wellness professionals. A panel discussion will also be held, focusing on building and strengthening the community in the Bronx.
Topics and activities will cover a wide range of wellness areas, including:
- Bodyweight fitness circuits
- Dance fitness
- Entrepreneurship
- Holistic health discussions/ presentations
- Mental Health
Additional Consideration:Due to the nature of some topics, approval is being considered to set the minimum participant age at 18 years and older.
Waivers and sign ups will be provided for participants to choose activities they want to parttake in.
