We will start with a recap of the three most important medicinal plants for this time of year and explore their key health benefits.
The featured plant of the day is Opuntia, known for its rich history, medicinal properties, and modern uses. Enrique will dive into its cultural importance and share stories about Cabeza de Vaca, a significant Spanish explorer whose experiences shed light on the history of plant medicine.
The event will also include a live demonstration on how to make a Nopal Smoothie, a refreshing and nutritious treat that you are sure to enjoy.
