DESCRIPTION
“In the deserts of the heart, let the healing fountain flow.” – W.H. Auden
This Lenten season, give yourself the gift of renewal and reconciliation with self, God, and the world through the beauty of poetry and prayer. Healing Fountain is a six-session series that invites participants to encounter poetry as a source of healing, reflection, and spiritual refreshment.
Together, we will read and discuss poems that illuminate the human journey and offer pathways to deeper awareness. Participants who wish to do so will also be encouraged to compose and share their own poetry as a way of prayer and self-expression.
Guided reflections and group conversations will explore themes such as:
- Awareness of the Journey
- Encountering Change
- Coping with Grief and Loss
- Being with Nature
Whether you are a seasoned poet or simply a lover of words and silence, this series offers a contemplative space to pause, listen, and allow the Spirit’s healing fountain to flow.
