Forces & Motion:

Get ready to build, test, and race! In this hands-on STEAM class, students will explore the science of forces and motion using cars. They’ll investigate how pushes, pulls, gravity, friction, speed, and weight affect the way a car moves.

Students will build their own car, test it on different surfaces and ramps, collect data, and make modifications to improve its performance. Through fun engineering challenges, they’ll discover how small changes to a design can make a big difference.

Students will leave the class with a better understanding of forces and motion—and experience the engineering process of building, testing, redesigning, and trying again!
