Come and learn about the history of He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti and how these impact current day issues including the proposed Treaty Principles Bill.
The facilitator is Dr. Susan Heron. Dr Susan Healy attended the Waitangi Tribunal hearings of the Ngāpuhi Nui Tonu claim where leading Ngāpuhi experts presented their history and intentions in entering into He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. She is co-author of Ngāpuhi speaks: He Whakaputanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi independent report on the Ngāpuhi Nui Tonu claim.
