Speaker: Michael Furo - HDC Crisis Response Supervisor

Understanding and respecting cultural diversity plays a pivotal role in crisis response. This session will deep-dive into how health care professionals can offer culturally sensitive care during crises. It will cover the importance of cultural competence, strategies for building trust with clients from various cultural backgrounds, and how to adapt crisis response interventions to be culturally inclusive.
